Andhra Pardesh – Four congress workers are arrested for releasing black ballons near Prime Minister Modi helicopter M-17 as it took off from Vijaywada International Airport for Bhimavaram.

The black ballons were released after five minutes of departure of PM Modi chopper and then four congress workers were detained at once, the police said.

The Prime Minister arrived at the airport following the start of a year long 125th anniversary commemoration of great freedom Fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju  in Bhimavaram in the state.

Police said the tight security arrangements were made near the airport and the area was properly cordon off. There was no security breach during PM arrival at Gannavaram airport. The ballons were released five minutes after the PM departure from the airport, the police said.

A video is circulating on social media platforms where some of the congress workers were seen climbing a building under construction in a village far away from the VIA at Gannavaram. They could be seen releasing black ballons.
