WASHINGTON, August 5, 2026: The US Department of Labor’s updated H-1B debarment list identifies four employers that are temporarily prohibited from submitting new H-1B petitions.

The listed employers and their stated debarment periods are:

* GowraTech LLC: May 12, 2025–May 11, 2027
* Renotek Group LLC: August 8, 2025–August 7, 2027
* Seeloz Inc.: March 4, 2026–March 3, 2028
* Sherwood at Mount Dora Inc., doing business as Sherwood Academy: May 26, 2026–May 25, 2028

The Department of Labor classifies the companies as willful violators under the H-1B programme. During the stated periods, they cannot sponsor additional workers through new H-1B petitions and may face enhanced scrutiny.

The restrictions apply to the named employers. They do not suspend the overall H-1B programme or automatically cancel the lawful status of every worker previously sponsored by these companies.

Because Indian nationals constitute a significant share of H-1B professionals, prospective workers should verify an employer’s status through official government records before accepting employment or paying immigration-related expenses.
