Amazon Alexa is the most popular worldwide, but Google Assistant has left it behind. Also, it has overtaken voice assistants like Apple Siri.
This information has emerged in the 2018 edition of “Smart Speaker IQ Test” by research-driven venture capital firm Loup Ventures.
“Smart Speaker IQ Test” is a study, done to test the correct output results via Home smart speakers.
In a report, “In 2017, Google found 81.1% of the correct answers to the questions, and now Google Assistant (tested on Home smart speaker) managed to answer 87.9% questions correctly.”
Alexa has improved accuracy from 63.8 % to 72.5% and Microsoft Courts have improved from 56.4 % to 63.4%.
Apple Siri gave accurate answers to 74.6% of the questions this year, while last year, it gave only 52% of correct answers.
Interestingly, Alexa is not at the forefront of shopping even as Amazon is leading the global e-commerce market.
That’s because, according to this study, Google Home answered to the Product questions more accurately.
The research firm said, “Google Assistance was the only Assistance, which could understand all 800 questions properly. But others were able to understand 99% or more.”
