YouTube Star Lilly Singh announced that she is taking a break from video platform that made her popular.
In a video posted on Monday night, Indo-Canadian Lilly said, “I am mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually exhausted.”
In a nearly, 8-minute video Lilly, who is also known as Superwoman, said that first and foremost, she is taking a break for her mental health.
And that YouTube has changed since she first started posting.
The 30-year-old Canadian has been making videos for her over 14 million subscribers for eight years, sometimes twice a week.
It is still not clear for how long she will be away from YouTube.
Ms Singh said, “I’m not making any rules. This might be a one week break, this might be a one month break – I have no idea.”
A prolific and popular YouTuber Ms Singh is among the highest-earning stars of the Platform.
Lilly promised her fans that she will be “be back happier and healthier” after her break.
