Rocco, an African grey parrot, was adopted by a sanctuary worker, Marion Wischnewski.

So far, the parrot has bought a range of veggies and fruits, a light bulb and a kite as well.

Miss Wischnewski from Blewbury in Oxfordshire says her Amazon account suddenly had pending orders for items including ice cream, watermelon, and strawberries.

Well, it turns out that Rocco was using Amazon’s Alexa to shop online while her owner was away.

She had to place a parental lock on the echo device.
