New Delhi: During the discussion on the Motion of Thanks on President Ram Nath Kovind’s address in Parliament, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at the government and accused India of being forced to participate in the Republic Day celebrations. No foreign guest could be found. Along with this, he also alleged that Pakistan and China have united during the Narendra Modi government.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has responded to both the allegations of Rahul Gandhi and presented the facts and he rejected the claim of Rahul Gandhi made in the Lok Sabha.
Jaishankar said that the presidents of the five Central Asian countries, who were to visit, held a digital summit on January 27. The External Affairs Minister tweeted, ‘Rahul Gandhi said in Lok Sabha that we did not get any foreign guest for Republic Day. The people living in India know that we are facing the wave of Pandemic.
The External Affairs Minister also criticized the allegations of Rahul against the government regarding Pakistan and China. Jaishankar said that Some historical lessons are as follows: In 1963, Pakistan illegally ceded the Shaksgam Valley to China; China built the Karakoram Highway via PoK in the 1970s.
In Lok Sabha, @RahulGandhi said we could not get a foreign guest for Republic Day. Those who live in India know we were in the midst of a corona wave.
The 5 Central Asian Presidents, who were to come, did hold a virtual summit on Jan 27. Did Rahul Gandhi miss that as well?

Rahul Gandhi alleged in Lok Sabha that it is this Government which brought Pakistan and China together.Perhaps, some history lessons are in order:
-In 1963,Pakistan illegally handed over the Shaksgam valley to China.
-China built the Karakoram highway through PoK in the 1970s.
