Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa’s son BY Vijayendra flouted restrictions imposed on inter-district travel and visiting shrines by visiting the Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud with his wife on Tuesday.

He reportedly visited the temple to “fulfill his vow” after he and his father recovered from COVID-19. “Officials can’t stop influential people like the CM’s son,” KPCC spokesperson M Lakshman said.
