Korean technology giant LG’s 2019 CES Innovation “craft beer making machine” will be debuting at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month.
The company developed microwave-sized LG Homebrew, an appliance that uses the capsule to brew your own cold craft beer.
Just like Nespresso tea, coffee, and hot chocolate pods, the beer capsules are of single use.
To make sure everything is clean, HomeBrew sanities itself by only using hot water.
Co-founder Aaron Walls said, “Put brew pouch into the machine, fill the system with water and then add your capsule or pack of ingredients. Open the app and press brew, the machine takes it from there.”
The wifi-connected gadget controls carbon dioxide levels and temperature via a corresponding app, all this can be checked from anywhere at any time.
The machine uses five different types of a capsule containing yeast, hop, and malt.
If the audience is positive at 2019 International Consumer Electronics Show, maybe it’ll be hitting the commercial market sooner.
