A 28-year-old Spanish man has been jailed for over 15 years for killing his mother at the apartment they shared in Madrid.

Alberto Sanchez Gomez, who claimed he was experiencing a psychotic episode, killed his mother, cut up her body and ate her over a period of at least 15 days in 2019. He was arrested in February 2019.
