Mizoram CM Zoramthanga on Sunday announced the demise of 76-year-old Ziona Chana who headed what’s been touted as the world’s largest family with at least 38 wives and 89 children (total 181 members).

“Mizoram and his (Chana’s) village at Baktawng Tlangnuam has become a major tourist attraction in the state because of the family. Rest in Peace Sir!” said Zoramthanga.
