Mumbai – The Unit XI of Mumbai police crime branch has busted a phone and video calls sex racket in Malad area.Police party raiding an office in the area has also arrested the owner.
According to police officials, a team raided an office from where huge sex racket of phone calls and video calling is operated. The police also rescued 17 women including students in this operation. In an information, money was made out of this racket.
The police officials said, they have raided the premises on a tip off as they suspected that such racket is run from the said office. Police also recovered phones and laptops from the spot.
In an information, it is learnt the accused used to pay digital diamonds to the girls and in returns those girls used to offer them nude video calls and vulgar talks.
Police said they are probinv into if any links are there or not in sextortion as it is found that the charges started from Rs 270 and went up to Rs 10,000.
The police said they have arrested a person, who is owner of the centre and further investigation in this regard is going on.
