Former Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh on Saturday dismissed reports of holding backend talks with Congress, saying the time for “rapprochement is over”.

“I’ll soon launch my own party and will hold talks for seat-sharing with BJP, breakaway Akali factions and others for Punjab polls once farmers’ issue is resolved,” he said. Singh had resigned from his post in September.
