The U.S. State Department did not publish a new worldwide visa-processing policy during the latest reporting period.
Its most recent substantive entry remains the August 31 guidance concerning the Diversity Visa program. Under that guidance, applicants may continue submitting documents and attending interviews, but visa issuance remains paused during a screening review.
Why it matters: Diversity Visa applicants remain affected by the existing pause, but no additional policy change has been announced.
