Uttar Pradesh’s Etawah district administration has ordered that liquor cannot be purchased from government shops until the consumer shows COVID-19 vaccine certificate.

SDM Saifai Hem Kumar Singh reportedly put up notices outside liquor outlets which read, “Liquor will be sold only to those who are vaccinated”. However, reports said that an official order mandating vaccine certificates is awaited.
