The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is turning 68 today. The whole country is looking to forward to see how PM Modi will be celebrating his birthday today. This year, instead of going to Gujarat, he will be spending his time with the school children in Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his birthday in his constituency of Varanasi, where he will spend some quality time with the school children from nearby villages and watch a 32-minute film ‘Chalo Jeete Hain’. This is going to be PM Modi’s two-day visit to Varanasi. As per the sources, in the first leg, PM Modi will visit Narur village, where he will interact with children of a primary school, aided by non-profit organisation “Room to Read”. After that, he will interact with students of Kashi Vidyapeeth and children assisted by them on the premises of Diesel Locomotive Works (DLW).
According to the media reports, a statement by the prime minister’s office (PMO) has been released which stated that PM Modi will lay the foundation of various development projects, cumulatively worth more than Rs 500 crore. The auspicious event will be held at the amphitheater of Banaras Hindu University (BHU).
Some of the projects to be inaugurated by Modi are Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) for Puraani Kashi and an Atal Incubation Centre at BHU. Among the projects for which the foundation stones will be laid is the Regional Ophthalmology Centre at BHU. PM Modi will also address a gathering, the statement said. A special cleanliness drive will also be launched and health camps will also be organised in the town. “District officials are holding meetings regarding the visit and all the security arrangements are being made for the various events in which he will take part, though the final itinerary of the prime minister’s visit is awaited,” news agency PTI quoted a district official as saying.
