One of the world’s largest video game companies Nintendo shared very special news through their YouTube handle “Nintendo UK”.
Nintendo, which have created some of the top-selling and best-known video game franchises, such as Pokémon and Mario have, came up with two new entries in Pokémon series for 2019.
All the Pokémon trainers around the world, who had already enjoyed many adventures in various regions of the Pokémon world, will now experience a whole new region in Pokémon universe.
The role-playing games are titled ” Pokémon Sword” and “Pokémon Shield”.
The new region, Galar, is visibly Britain-inspired.
Shigeru Ohmori, Director of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield said,” Galar is an expansion region with many environments containing idyllic countryside and contemporary cities vast plains and craggy-snow covered mountains.”
With all advanced developments, in his new region the player can visit gyms with newly discovered Pokémon of their own choice.
The new partners in Pokémon world represents the main elements each – grass, fire and water.
Pokémon are named as Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble.
Each one have their own abilities and powers.
The grass type named Grookey is described as a mischievous, curious chimp; Sobble, the water type, is more of a timid lizard that likes to hide; and Scorbunny, the fire type, is highly energetic.
With no specifics details about release date the games are expected to drop in late 2019.
