CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Government has declared October 22, 2021 as a local holiday in Amritsar district on the auspicious day of Guru Ram Das Ji’s birth anniversary.

Disclosing this here today an official spokesperson said that on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Guru Ram Das Ji on October 22 (Friday) there would be a local holiday in government offices, boards / corporations and government educational institutions in Amritsar district. A notification to this effect has also been issued by the Personnel Department.
