LUDHIANA, December 09:
To encourage and nurture youth of the State towards sports, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Chairperson Punjab Youth Development Board Er Sukhwinder Singh Bindra at SCD Government College (Boys) here. The main objective of this meeting was to follow up all the active youth clubs in the state and distribute sports kits to them in future so that interest in sports would be created among the youth of the state.
During the meeting, Chairperson Er Bindra interacted with Ludhiana District Youth Clubs, Red Ribbon Clubs and NSS Units and briefed them on youth related Schemes besides answering their queries.

Chairperson Er Sukhwinder Singh Bindra, while addressing the problems of the youth and giving them sound corrections said that the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, who has entrusted him with the charge of Punjab Youth Development Board would carry out his duties diligently under his able guidance and direction. He said that he stood by the Youth of the entire state.
Chairperson Er Sukhwinder Singh Bindra while talking about visiting all the districts of the state under Youth Contact Programme to encourage the youth towards sports said that this was second interaction programme in Ludhiana after Mohali while next programmes are scheduled in Shri Fatehgarh Sahib and Amritsar.

In this meeting, Deputy Director Head Office Department of Youth Services Chandigarh Dr Kamaljit Singh Sidhu, Assistant Director District Office Department of Youth Services Ludhiana Davinder Singh Lotte and District Sports Officers Ludhiana Ravinder Singh among other officials were present.
