Busting a drug syndicate suspected of being operated by gangsters in jails, Punjab Police have recovered 20 kg of heroin being smuggled from J&K’s Srinagar on Monday.

Police recovered the 20 heroin packets after intercepting a truck and a Hyundai car in Kapurthala. Police have also arrested two people and are questioning them over their links in the drug network.
