– Gangsters patronised by opposition parties for 7 decades says AAP Sangrur candidate Gurmail Singh

Chandigarh: To make a personal contact with voters of the constituency, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Sangrur Lok Sabha bypoll Gurmail Singh has intensified his campaign by visiting as many as 20 villages of the constituency on Monday. Gurmail, a well-educated candidate, is seeking vote on the name of the development works and pro-people initiatives were taken by the Chief Minister-Bhagwant Mann-led government in almost three months.

Lamenting over politicising the unfortunate death of popular singer Sidhu Moosewala by opposition, Gurmail slammed Congress for using slain singer’s photos in party’s election song released yesterday in favour of the party candidate Dalvir Singh Gold for upcoming Sangur bypolls. “A mother has lost his son but it is appalling that Congress is trying to get mileage from his death in the elections.

Congress should resist to use such tactics and hurt sentiments of family and fans,” Gurmail Singh said during his campaigning. Lambasting opposition for targeting AAP government for alleged deterioration of law and order situation in the state, Gurmail said that the gangsters were patronised by successive governments for past 70 years and now they are putting all the blame on CM Mann-led AAP government’s almost three-month governance.

He said that oppositions have baffled with the extraordinary decisions taken by AAP and trying to tarnish clean image of the party by using cheap-political tactics.
