Yoga guru Baba Ramdev once again came into highlights by giving a disputed statement on population control in India .
Baba Ramdev has given a statement about population control at an event in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh.
He said that controlling population in the country with more than 1 billion population should be a priority.
Showing his concern about population control, Baba advised the government that those who have more than two children should not have the right to vote, to do jobs and have treatment facilities, whether that person is Hindu or Muslim.
While giving this bizarre idea, Ramdev earlier said that people like him, who are unmarried, should get special honor.
In November 2018, he said, “In this country, people like me, who never get married, should receive a special honor. Those who get married and produce more than two children should be denied voting rights.”
This is not the first time that the co-founder of Patanjali Ayurved Ltd. had expressed his concern for population control.
