Bahujan Samaj Party and Akali Dal held a rally near the university today on the occasion of the death anniversary of the poor Masiha Sahib Kanshi Ram Ji. On this occasion Shiromani Akali Dal President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal paid floral tributes. On this occasion the entire leadership of Akali Dal and BSP including Daljit Singh Cheema arrived.

Addressing the rally Mr. Sukhbir Badal announced that with the coming of Akali Dal government in Punjab every section would get 400 units of free electricity. He said that it would be started by SC Scholarship. Each person will get a medical card of up to Rs 10 lakh under which free treatment will be available in both private and government hospitals.
Mr. Sukhbir Badal said that 33% seats in each college would be reserved for SC community and the entire cost of these 33% students would be borne by Akali Dal party. He said that a medical college would be set up in the memory of Shri Kanshi Ram ji. There, the Shiromani Akali Dal in Doaba Dr. BR. A large university will be set up in Ambedkar’s memory.
