US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has denied reports that the Taliban had blocked Americans attempting to fly out of northern Afghan city Mazar-i-Sharif.

Blinken added that the Taliban hasn’t allowed the charter flights to depart as some people lacked valid travel documents, thus effectively blocking the departure of the entire group “because all of these people are grouped together”.
