After this decision, the two leaders spoke on the telephone and condemned the decision of this company.
Both the leaders objected to the decision of the company and said that this decision will affect many people.
While giving information about this, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spokesman Cameron Ahmad said that both leaders expressed their resentment over the decision to shut down the factory by General Motors.
Ahmed said: “Both the leaders spoke on the phone while General Mortars declared closure of their factories as unfortunate. Both the leaders have expressed their condolences to workers and businessmen who are affected due to the closure of the factory. “
The White House, while confirming the talk, said that the decision taken by the company has been criticized by both the leaders.
Let us tell you that General Motors has decided to discontinue its production from its Oshawa Plant in December 2019.
The union of Auto Works, Unifor Company is opposing this decision. With this decision, approximately 2500 workers will be affected.
