On second day of Shaheedi Jor Mel at Fatehgarh Sahib after paying obeisance at Gurdwara Sri Fatehgarh Sahib, Cabinet Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot while addressing the media said that it is unfortunate that the “Aandata” is sitting on dharna at Delhi from the last one month demanding repealing of three contentious farm laws, but the arrogant Modi Government is not heeding to their demand and PM is behaving like dictator. He alleged that the PM is working as “ Chowkidar” of the corporate houses and protecting their interests instead of the farmers.

He said that he should not forget that it was the State farmers, who not only fed the country at a time when the country was reaching out to the United States, Mexico and other countries for food grains, but also made the country self sufficient. He said the Punjab government led by Capt. Amrinder Singh fully backs the struggle of the farmers.

Mohammad Sadique Congress MP, Balbir Singh Sidhu Health Minister, Bibi Jagir Kaur SGPC President and Sewa Singh Sekhwan SAD(D) leader also paid obeisance and they all prayed for the success of the farmer’s struggle against farm laws.
