Surrey: The Punjabi world suffered a huge loss when news of the murder of Ranjeev Sangha of Surrey came.
Ranjeev has been shot dead by unidentified attackers on November 26 at about 11:46 am, in the 5400-block of 146 Street, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT).
41-year-old Sangha was ‘well-known for promoting Bhangra,’ a popular and traditional Punjabi dance, in the community.
Sangha’s family, friends and loved ones are in shock. One of his long-time friends, Gurp Sian said, “It doesn’t make sense for something like this to happen to a guy like Ranjeev.”

The attackers immediately fled after the killing in a four-door Sedan of black color.
About an hour later, that black car was found burning approximately 100m off of the Cambie Road pedestrian path.
