About 200 tourists who were stuck at the Lemon Tree resort at the Ramnagar-Ranikhet route in Uttarakhand have been evacuated, DGP Ashok Kumar has said.

The Kosi river overflowed due to incessant rains and entered the resort’s premises, blocking the route leading up to it. As many as 20-24 people have died due to rains in Uttarakhand.
