A 21-year-old Dalit man, Vinod Bamnia, in Rajasthan died after being assaulted by a group of men belonging to an OBC community, two weeks after some of them allegedly tore posters of BR Ambedkar pasted outside his home.

The victim’s family member called it “an act of revenge” as they had complained about the accused after they tore the poster.
