Chandigarh – Newly appointed PPCC president Amarinder Raja Warring assumed his office at Punjab Bhawan Chandigarh.
Former president Navjot Singh Sidhu came to Punjab Bhawan for a short while. When Amarinder Raja Warring entered inside the complex, Sidhu was coming out and congratulated newly apponited president Raja Warring by giving him a hug.
Besides this , Former Cabinet Minister Sukhjinder Randhawa , Deputy president Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Tript Rajinder Bajwa , Punjab Incharge Harish Chaudhary, Leader of Opposition Partap Bajwa, former chief minister Charanjit Singh Channi , president youth congress Barinder Dhillon, former MLA Kulbir Zira and many other congress leaders were present on the occasion.
Talking to media, Navjot Sidhu said Congress party needs to be reorganised. He said it again the party lost recent assembly elections due to working in unorganised manner. On asking if he is passing on the baton to the newly appointed president, he said, of course and not only passing on the baton but also wished him ‘good luck’. Raja is young and energetic congressman, he added.
