Chandigarh – The partial solar eclipse was seen in India today. The partially covered sun was visible at maximum at around 5pm in India. It was seen in Delhi, Lucknow , Amritsar, Chandigarh , Chennai, Bengaluru.
The partial solar eclipse was the last eclipse of year 2022. The eclipse could not be seen ending as it will end after sunset.
The Ministry of Earth Sciences has appealed people not to view the sun during eclipse with naked eye, even for the brief period of time.
The next solar eclipse will be visible in India on August 2, 2027. It will be total solar eclipse. It will be visible as partial solar eclipse from all parts of the country.
