On the directions of the Punjab school education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla the school education department has re-launched an awareness campaign on Corona-19 epidemic.

Disclosing this a spokesperson of the school education department said that the Education Minister was very much concerned about the dire situation of Covid-19. Keeping in view about this situation, he has instructed the education department to make the general public especially students aware of the corona epidemic . That is why the school education department has started an online and door-to-door awareness campaign. Teachers are being updating the students during online classes about the precautions to be taken against this disease. The department of education is using social media for this campaign and promotional materials are being posted on various social media platforms.

During the campaign, the teachers are educating the students and general public on how to wash their hands as well as how to wear masks and keep physical distance. Teachers are also enlightening the students and general public about the symptoms of the corona affected patient and urging them to be more vigilant. The general public is also being urged to take special care of the elderly and children and to follow the government’s guidelines regarding the gathering of a certain number of people during social functions.
