The Sewa Kendras witness heavy public footfall on daily basis and the Sewa Kendras personnel are involved in lot of public dealing in receipt, processing and delivery of applications which makes them more vulnerable to COVID-19 infection. So, to ensure the complete safety of all the Sewa Kendras personnel and visitors, changes have been made in Sewa Kendras operations w.e.f 01st May 2021 till 31st May 2021,informed Deputy Commissioner Girish Dayalan.

The timings of Sewa Kendras shall be from 9 AM to 4 PM. All the payments and transactions at Sewa Kendras should be encouraged through POS machines and other digital modes to avoid cash handling. COVID vaccination certificate is mandatory for Sewa Kendra personnel (DM/ ADM/ MI/ Operators/ Security Guards/ Engineers/ Runner or any other staff to attend the office and personnel currently without certificate shall be vaccinated before resuming duties. No staff member should be allowed if they don’t have the vaccination certificate.

Service delivery would be through appointment only. To avail any service, the applicants are required to take prior appointment mandatorily. No applicant shall be entertained without having valid appointment. Appointment can be taken via Mobile App – M-Sewa, COVA or the Website https://darpa.punjab.gov.in/sewakendras or through Contact Nos. 8968593812-13
Use of masks is mandatory in Sewa Kendras by Operators and Citizens. Limited number of applicants ie equal to the number of serving counters at the Sewa Kendra concerned to be allowed inside Sewa Kendra while remaining public may be asked to wait outside the Sewa Kendra.
Output document delivery to applicants through courier mode shall be encouraged.
