Uttarakhand unit of Indian Medical Association has written to the state government opposing Patanjali’s proposal to include Coronil tablets in the COVID-19 kit.

“Coronil is recognised as a food supplement by Ayush vibhag and it is not a drug or medicine as claimed by Baba Ramdev,” the letter said. It added that Coronil is not approved by WHO and DCGI.
