IMD has said that Punjab, J&K, Himachal Pradesh and parts of northern India will experience heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, gusty winds and lightning during October 22-24.

IMD said that light to moderate rainfall is also very likely over Uttarakhand and Delhi during October 23-24. The southwest monsoon is likely to withdraw from entire India around October 26, it added.
