Rameshwaram. Sri Lankan Navy arrested 11 fishermen from the border today. They all were arrested on charges of entering their waters. A senior official of the state government gave this information. Fishermen have rejected the allegation of their comrades crossing the maritime boundary.

According to a senior official of the Department of Fisheries, Navy arrested 11 fishermen and seized three boats. Meanwhile, Lok Sabha member from Ramanathapuram K. Navas Kani has informed to the Center about the incident and appealed to find a permanent solution to this problem.
