The pop star was selected as a Speaker for class 2022 for her various accomplishments in the field of music. She was also acknowleged of her fearless challenge of industry, stereotypes and her philanthropy and activism, reports say.
“Wearing a cap and gown for the very first time – see you soon NYU,” Swift wrote in a post before walking into graduation while preparing her speech.

NYU has conferred 32 year old singer with the highest degree in fine arts after the Rolling Stone Magazine Writer Brittany Spanos gave a course about Taylor’s musical legacy.
Taylor Swift is one of the most prolific and celebrated artists of her generation. She is only female artist in the music industry who has won Grammy Award for ‘Album of the Year’ for three times, New York University mentioned in the press release.
She is the only artist whose 3 albums grabbed number 1 position in a year.
