Toronto- Police have arrested a suspect who sent death threats to Brampton Mayor Patrick Brown. The suspect has been identified as 29-year-old Kanwaljot Singh Manoria, a resident of Brampton.
In fact, a few days ago, police had increased security after a threat was sent to the mayor via email. Peel Police Deputy Chief Nick Milinovic said that after a thorough investigation into the death threats to the mayor, the police found solid evidence, after which an investigation team was formed. The investigation team obtained a search warrant for the accused’s home, where the police found some electronic devices, which after investigation, the young man who sent the threats to the mayor was taken into custody. The investigation team is interrogating the accused, after which the accused will be presented in court.
