Eight Indian-American technology professionals and researchers have been included in the 2026 TIME100 AI list, highlighting the community’s contribution to the rapidly expanding artificial-intelligence sector.
Those named are IBM chairman and chief executive Arvind Krishna, research leader Arvind Raman, Caltech professor Anima Anandkumar, healthcare-AI entrepreneur Suchi Saria, Micron chief executive Sanjay Mehrotra, technology investor Sunny Gandhi, Cognizant chief executive Ravi Kumar S and AI specialist Meetali Jain.
The annual selection groups honorees under four broad categories—leaders, innovators, shapers and thinkers. Inclusion is an editorial recognition by TIME and should not be described as a competitive prize or a formal industry ranking.
The representation of Indian Americans across corporate leadership, academic research, healthcare technology, semiconductors and investment underlines their growing influence in the development and commercial adoption of artificial intelligence.
