MOSCOW/KYIV — Ukraine launched more than 1,000 drones toward Russian territory, including the largest reported drone attack on Moscow since the war began. Russian authorities said three people were killed, at least 20 were injured, and an apartment building and the Moscow Oil Refinery were damaged.
Moscow claimed that more than 1,600 drones had been intercepted since Saturday, including about 450 approaching the capital. Ukraine said its campaign was intended to weaken Russian military logistics and oil revenue, not target civilians.
