Chandigarh, Today, Punjab Youth Development Board Chairman Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Bindra said that board will launch series of meetings to redress the grievances of the youngsters of the state every month. These grievance redressal meetings will start from district Ludhiana and in the second week of March, he will preside over the maiden meeting to listen to the plaints and suggestions of the youth, he said. Chairing the meeting of board members and Assistant Directors of the Youth Services here at Punjab Bhawan, During these district level meetings; officials would be instructed to redress the problems swiftly, Mr. Bindra said. He exhorted members of the board to act as a harbinger to mobilize the youth and perform their responsibilities diligently. youth development board has been steadfastly working for the youngsters since the time of the formation of the Board and committed to act as the voice of the youth under the far-sighted guidance of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh, he said.

Mr. Bindra instructed Field Assistant Directors of Youth Services department to reactivate the youth clubs in their respective districts and where the election of the office-bearers of the clubs is pending, it should be conducted on priority. participation of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) for the camps of the Youth Services department should be ensured and increased as well, he said. The prominent amongst those present in the meeting included; Ms. Poonam Thakur, Mr. Akashdeep Singh Lali, Mr. Nirmal Singh Dullat, Dr. Aanchal Arora and Mr. Swinder Singh Dhunna (all board members), Special Secretary-cum-Director Sports and Youth Services Mr. Sanjay Popli, Assistant Director (Headquarters) Mr. Charanjit Singh, Deputy Director Dr. Kamaljit Singh Sidhu besides all field officers of Youth Services department.
