-CM Mann took pro-people initiatives in just three months which previous government failed to take in decades
Sangrur: Listing achievements and pro-people decisions taken by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government during the three months governance in Punjab, party’s chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang on Thursday said that AAP will again will the Sangrur seat with a thumping majority.
“AAP is contesting this bypoll elections on development works and pro-people initiatives taken by CM Mann-led government in past three months and Mann’s two terms as Member of Parliament from Sangrur. Being an MP, Mann addressed the problems of not only Sangrur but the whole of Punjab meticulously in the Parliament now he is transforming the Punjab,” Kang said while addressing a press conference here.
Kang said that under the dynamic leadership of CM Mann, AAP government has taken such steps in just three months which the previous government had failed to do in decades. He said that to facilitate farmers, AAP government took decisions of reduction in load enhancement fee on tubewells, approved Rs. 66.56 crores for Moong purchase while, super luxurious Volvo buses from Punjab to Delhi International airport launched, one new government school and Mohalla clinic each in all 117 assembly segments on Delhi Model, One MLA-One Pension, approved recruitment to 26,454 posts lying vacant in various government departments and AAP government has also decided to set up a medical college in Sangrur besides many other pro-people initiatives took by the government.
Kang said that the Sangrur constituency has been the stronghold of the party since 2014 and party candidate Gurmail Singh will win this seat with a thumping majority as people of Sangrur have trust on the AAP party.
