Chandigarh/Mohali: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has made a big announcement for the Sikh Sangat who reach in lakhs every day to visit Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. Kejriwal announced that when the AAP government is formed, the Guru ki Nagari Amritsar will be developed anew and will make it a ‘World Icon City’.

AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal and AAP’s Punjab chief ministerial candidate Bhagwant Mann made this announcement for Sikh devotees by holding a press conference in Mohali on Wednesday. Kejriwal said that the people of Punjab have been demanding for many years to make Amritsar a world icon city, but the demand has not been fulfilled till date. I want to assure that the Aam Aadmi Party government will take all possible steps to make Amritsar a world icon city and fulfil all the wishes of the people and devotees of Punjab.
