Chandigarh: Hundreds of AAP volunteers protested against the steep increase of water tariffs by the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation, inspite of the assurance by the wrongly elected Mayor, that her party will not allow any increase and will take with her all the 35 councilors. AAP city President Prem Garg said that the Aam Aadmi Party will not remain silent on the issue of water tariffs and has demanded that there should be an open debate in the MC House on this issue and whatever the 35 councilors collectively decide, will be acceptable to all and the public will also know the reality of situation.
