Patiala: N.S.S. Unit and Swachhta Club of Mata Sahib Kaur Khalsa Girls College of Education organized activities under Swachhta Survekhan-2020 in college campus. In this programme T .Benith (Assistant Commissioner, Patiala & Co-ordinator, Swachh Bhart Abhiyan) was the Chief Guest and Er. Gurbakshish Singh (Nodal Officer, Swachh Bhart Abhiyan) was the guest of honour College.

While welcoming the guests, College Principal Dr. Harmeet Kaur Anand stressed on the importance of cleanliness and said that we should clean our surroundings so that we can prevent ourselves from various diseases . She further motivated the students to give their contribution for Swachhta Survekhan-2020. Chief guest of the day T. Benith gave information regarding the Swachhta App and motivated the students to download this app so as to get benefit by utilizing it their daily life. He also gave clarification for the various queries of the students regarding the cleanliness of various parts of District Patiala . Er. Gurbakshish Singh while addressing the students insisted on the least use of plastic material in their daily life. He further suggested the students to use separate dustbins to segregate the dry and wet garbage. On this occassion, winners of slogan writing and poster making competitions organized by the college were awarded with certificates. Under this programme cleanliness drive was also conducted in the college campus . In the end, Dr. Gurwinder Kaur (Nodal Officer, Swachhta Club) proposed vote of thanks.
