Captain Amarinder Singh today while addressing from the stage of Kartarpur Corridor foundation stone laying ceremony, demanded a Visa and Passport free excess of the corridor.
Amarinder in his public address said, “M Visa should be introduced for this historic and super special Corridor, where any passport or visa wouldn’t be needed”.
On this occasion the Chief Minister of Punjab also declared that Congress government will erupt a gigantic gate to mark the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak.
“It will stand out as one of the monumental symbol to venerate the special occasion,” said ex-army man.
Earlier a lot of controversies hit the ceremony, first being the very foundation stone which was being inaugurated today.
Congress’ MLA Sukhjinder Randhawa early morning black tapped his Chief Minister Amarinder Singh and party’s state head Sunil Jakhar’s name on the foundation stone.
Randhawa was livid because ex-CM of Punjab and his son, Sukhbir Badal’s name were also mentioned on the stone.
Then there was the episode when Central Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal started her speech and the crowd went ‘loco’, starting the booing.
