American Airlines flight at Rome and second picture shows timings of the diverted flight

It was a shocking journey for the passengers of New Delhi bound flight which was diverted to Rome Fiumicino Airport for scary bomb threat. American Airlines flight which prioritized safety after an email threat in flight AA292 which started from JFK Airport of New York stranded hundreds of passengers in perplexity and fear.

Status of flight on the website of American Airlines showed flight AA292 departed New York’s JFK airport at 8:14 pm on February 22 and is estimated to arrive at the Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino Airport in Fiumicino, Italy at around 5:30 pm local time.

Huge security measures were taken at Italy airport. Everyone was frisked. Baggage was thoroughly checked. Bomb disposal units were deployed and the area was cordoned off. Passengers were immediately taken to the terminal for rigorous checking. Sniffer dogs and Italian authorities made it clear after intense inspection that there was no bomb or threat to the plane.

American Airlines is making arrangements to pacify terrified passengers. Airlines responded that it’s providing hotels to the passengers and rescheduling flights to minimize disruptions.

Also, to mention is that everyone is safe. Though Government of India is also in touch with American and Italian authorities concerning the safety of passengers.
