Irrfan Khan,who had taken a sabbatical from bollywood owing to health issues earlier this year, will soon return to India .The actor has been taking abroad to neuroendocrine tumor in London and is how planning to return to the world of Bollywood next month.
Reports were abuzz a couple of days ago about the actor returning to Mumbai post Diwali and now we hear that the actor will also start off with his work. And his first film will be Hindi Medium sequel which has apparently been titled English Medium.
Hindi Medium turned out to be the sleeper hit of 2017 and the makers were keen on continuing the franchise. They even announced the second installment soon after the success of the first installment but the health issues of Irrfan Khan got the film to a standstill. However now, a source confirmed that the project is all set to kick off next month.
The source said, “Well, everyone by now knows that Irrfan will be back in the city next month. Once he recoups completely, he will start with Hindi Medium sequel which is now titled English Medium. Producer Dinesh Vijan is currently in the process of locking the director and the same will be finalized soon. T-Series will be backing the film this time around too.”
