Mumbai: Actress Shilpa Shetty’s husband and businessman Raj Kundra is serving his sentence in jail. It may be recalled that Raj Kundra was arrested by the police on July 19 on charges of making pornographic films. Police also arrested the businessman’s partner, Ryan Thorpe. The Mumbai Crime Branch team has filed a 1,500-page chargesheet against Raj Kundra and his accomplice.

Names of other accused in the chargesheet
The crime branch had in April registered a chargesheet against nine other people in the case. Let us say that now the names of two other people have been added to it. According to reports, the first name is Yash Thakur alias Arvind Srivastava, who is living in Singapore. There is another name of Raj Kundra’s brother-in-law Pradeep Bakshi who is still in London.

It is to be mentioned that the name of Yash Thakur came to light during the interrogation of another accused Tanveer Hashmi. Yash is accused of providing pornographic material. Police have also received information about a bank transaction between Thakur and Hashmi. A large amount of information has come to light after an investigation by the police. It has come to the notice of the police that Rs 1.17 crore was allegedly being earned from the customers through these films. These pornographic films were distributed to the public through the Hotshots app. The earnings are being reported from August 2020 to December 2020.
