Chandigarh: The employees of the electricity department have gone on strike for 3 days against the privatization of electricity in Chandigarh. There is a danger of blackout in the city due to employee’s strike. Electricity problem has started since last night in Chandigarh. With the start of the strike of electricity workers, there has been power failure in many sectors.

People are not getting any help on the helpline numbers which were issued by the electricity department. Due to this, people are facing lot of trouble. Many houses could not even get water supply since morning due to power cut. Homes that have inverters are also worried because if there is a power cut for a long time, the inverter will also shut down after running for a few hours.
