Five policemen have been suspended after a video went viral showing a man using petrol and tyres to cremate a body found floating in river Ganga in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia. A probe into the incident has been initiated under the Additional Superintendent of Police.

“The policemen displayed insensitivity during the last rites,” Superintendent of Police Vipin Tada said.
